Meet Calicove, a Bay Area collective of rock & roll and hip-hop prodigies who are changing the face of entertainment. Reminiscent of the emerging 90's rock and rap collaborations, Calicove is largely inspired by Run DMC, Nirvana, and Tupac, as well as more current artists such as Jay-Z and Linkin Park. Not to be pigeon-holed into any one style, they've coined their very own crossover genre: Rap N’ Roll.

After several years of perfecting their craft, Calicove has just recently been making the big push forward by releasing their first two official music videos on YouTube. Impressively, since their recent release dates, their song "I Wanna Party" has climbed to over 29,000 hits, and their song "Dream On" has an incredible 145,000 hits! Knowing the importance of giving back to their community as well as their loyal and considerable fan base, Calicove has performed at a Cancer Benefit and a Christmas Toys for Tots Drive with great success to both charities. Calicove's other notable performances include a show for the United States Olympic Ski team in Lake Tahoe, California, who contacted them after hearing their music, as well as a sold out New Years 2011 show taking place at the Sheraton Hotel in San Jose, California. The start of this year has already been hugely productive for the band's goal to get their music heard by the masses. They are collaborating with major artists, bands, and producers such as Evan Ross, Sublime, and Tony DeNiro. Also, they have recently hired music executive Gary Marella as their radio promoter who brought them their first break on mainstream radio stations which lead to a radio promotions tour on the West Coast.

Since day one, Calicove has worked diligently to bring forth only their best sound and best performances, and their tireless work ethic is evident at their shows; their showmanship and stage presence is a must see, which includes props that encourage crowd participation, along with an incredible sound only assured by providing their own sound technicians.
