CTA is: Danny Seraphine, Drums - ranked by Rolling Stone as one of the top drummers of all time. He was a founding member and original drummer for the multi-million selling, Grammy award winning band Chicago. From 1967 to 1990, Seraphine played on and helped produce 18 Gold and 13 Platinum albums, 50 Top 40 hits, including 20 Top 10 singles, and 5 number ones. In 2010, Danny Seraphine released his autobiography "Street Player - My Chicago Story", which chronicles his troubled youth on the streets of Chicago, his years in one of the most successful rock bands in American history to his resurgence into the music world with his current band, California Transit Authority.

Danny received the lifetime achievement award at the 2010 Cape Breton Drum Festival. Danny was recognized by ASCAP as songwriter of the year for co-writing Pitbull's "I Know You Want Me".

Marc Bonilla, vocals, Guitar: Marc has played guitar and toured with Warner Bros. recording artists Toy Matinee as well as recording two critically acclaimed guitar instrumental albums for Reprise “EE Ticket” and “American Matador”.
Marc has produced, recorded and performed with: Ronnie Montrose, Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple, UK's Eddie Jobson, and Keith Emerson of ELP fame. Composed and performed numerous television shows and major motion pictures including Green Lantern, Iron Man 2, The Scorpion King, The Replacements, Falling Down, Terminal Velocity, Waterworld, Mad Money, Spy Kids, Spiderman 2, Bruce Almighty, Las Vegas, Kid Notorius, The PJ’s, and ER, collaborating with such notables as James Newton Howard, John Debney, Joel McNeely and Snuffy Walden receiving an Emmy award nomination in 2001 for his score for David Milch’s Big Apple.

Edward Harris Roth: Keyboards: Over the course of his career, Roth has toured with Grammy winners, including Coolio, R&B group The Brothers Johnson, and R&B vocalist Mya. Roth has also toured with Grammy nominees Sophie B. Hawkins, Latin pop star Marisela, and reggae vocalist Sistah Carol. He also performs with dance divas Kristine W. (nine 1 Billboard dance hits) and Thelma Houston, rock vocalist Glenn Hughes, guitar legend Ronnie Montrose, R&B/pop vocalist Cece Penniston and pop sensation, Sheena Easton. Recoded with : Coolio, Kristine W., Sophie B. Hawkins, Angie Stone, Sebastian Bach, Rob Halford, Jerry Cantrell, Glenn Hughes, Ronnie Montrose, Will Smith, Jao Sebastion and Marisela.

Peter Fish, Keyboards: Composed Abel Ferrara’s Warner Bros. Film Bodysnatchers, while co-producing the score. He also scored the feature documentary Tie-Died and scenes of Samuel Goldwyn Co’s feature Wigstock the Movie; the much acclaimed documentary feature Painting the Town; HBO Undercover’s critically acclaimed Dead Blue, Panic, The Vampire Murders, Suicide and Crank. He recently garnered his 17th Emmy nomination in the category “Best Original Theme Song”. He was nominated for the Emmy for music score, 1999-2000 for his work on Panic. He co-composed and produced the score of Ferrara’s Dangerous Games, the 1999 Emmy Award Winning Voices of the Children (Best Television Documentary).

Eric Redd, Lead Vocals
Eric Redd first gained attention at the age of 12 as one of the youngest dancers on the LA club scene when he was discovered by one of the nation’s top choreographers.

While on tour as a soloist in the Ballet de Marseilles, Eric moonlighted as a session singer for Global Records in Germany. Eric perfomed in European productions of Cats, La Cage Aux Follies, Body and Soul, and Starlight Express.

Upon his return to the United States he began writing and recording compositions for television and served as a music supervisor for Black Entertainment Television (BET) in the new programming department. He continued performing, touring, and recording with artists K.D. Lang, Coolio, The Sara Lee Band, Gail Ann Dorsey and Ani DiFranco. Around the world he has shared the stage with an A-list artist roster including Andrea Boccelli, Harry Connick Jr., Kool and the Gang, Lionel Richie, and Cirque de Soleil. Eric has also been a featured performer opening for Paul McCartney, The Pointer Sisters, Dionne Warwick, and Thelma Houston.

CTA has been described as "Chicago on steroids". Their shows combine hot new compositions and honor the jazz rock style of the original CTA with a fresh, recharged energy that hasn't been felt since the early days of Chicago.
