CALI

Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pa, Cali is a singer songwriter and social media personality who combines light electro pop sounds with soulful lyrics and addictive melodies. Her last released EP titled, Oh Love received rave reviews and included several songs that landed her licensing contracts with huge networks such as MTV, VH1, TLC and Discovery. With nearly 100,000 combined social media followers, CALI is continually expanding her fan base with live performances, including her recent performance where she opened for, A Great Big World in Pittsburgh, PA.

Growing up, Cali was surrounded with music and the arts. Raised in a family of musicians, painters, writers and poets, she was always encourage to pursue the dreams that kept her inspired. So she chose music.

Cali who is the 5th in a line of 7 children, spent years watching her sister Caryn, playing the piano, singing in bands, solo projects, recording albums etc. She was always involved in projects and noticed early on that Cali showed interest in everything she was doing, so she encouraged Cali to fall in love with music as well. "Cali would sit in the living room day after day, for hours teaching herself the guitar and piano, She was obsessed! She was so young playing and singing these hooks from songs that she heard on the radio, it was mesmerizing." said her oldest sister Caryn Jellen 

Cali's family agreed that she had a rare talent and all contributed to helping to develop her craft. Cali was enrolled in vocal lessons, piano lessons and guitar lessons and continues to learn the art of songwriting. Her closet sibling, Cassie (14) co-writes most songs with Cali and is certainly the ear of approval before heading up the line through the family, ending at her oldest sisters. It is kind like they have a little chain of songwriting command, a family factory of music making.
