Calleni Johnson is a very skillful songwriter, rap artist, and producer. The music that he creates is guaranteed to take listeners on an imaginary journey through his crafty wordplay and storyline. Calleni’s distinct sound blends different genre of music, including Reality Rap (Gangsta Rap), Hip Hop, and R&B which makes his music very appealing to his fans. His style of flow is mostly influenced by the world’s notorious rappers NWA, Snoop Dog, and Tupac, combined with today’s hottest rappers YoGotti, Jeezy, Gucci Mane, and Kevin Gates.
Over the last several years, Calleni has worked on a number of projects. In his current project “No Struggle, No Rewards,” Calleni dives deep into his past by sharing his perspective of life and experiences surrounded by high crime, sex, and drugs. His candid lyrics focus on struggle and survival, and the benefits of overcoming such adversities. With his singles, “M.B.C.M” and “Reaching Fo,” Calleni gives his fans something to anticipate. He expects to release the “No Struggle, No Rewards” mixtape in the summer of 2016.
