Bio
Straying from most mainstream musical standards, "Call Me Crazy" braves the jazz music world by performing some great standards that are not main-stream ("Four" by Miles Davis, the theme from the Conan O'Brien show, and even "Jump" from West Side Story).
They, however, are known to perform crowd-pleasers like "Jump, Jive an' Wail" and "Zoot Suit Riot", and are currently broadening their musical horizons by learning some Chicago tunes and ska songs.
Jazz influences include Squirrel Nut Zippers, Royal Crown Revue, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Mephiskapheles, and the like. Older jazz influences include Gershwin, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, and Dizzy Gillespie.
