Call of the Road paved its way into existence in 2019. With the success of the first show in May, the band was quickly booked for 14 more shows through the end of the year. After just a few shows, Call of the Road became the “go to” band for parties and celebrations. Several of the venues booked the band for a return engagement before the gear was loaded in the truck. The most notable show was at the Susan Knapp Amphitheater during the Iowa State Fair. By the time October rolled around, Call of the Road had scheduled a Radio appearance at KBOE 104.9, and a TV appearance on CW's Iowa Live. Additionally, the band had 10 other shows booked through June 2020, including shows booked in Omaha and Kansas City. Call of the Road plans to hit the road in 2020 and fulfill the mission that gave the band its name. Together Call of the Road has decades of experience playing all over the midwest and southern states with their respective instruments.
