Bio

FIERCE PANDA RECORDS - '...like the kills playing a blondie cover to pay their respects to the passing of CBGB's'

Named after the riot grrl classic by Sleater-Kinney, Bristol based CALL THE DOCTOR formed when singer Patti Aberhart met Robert Hallworth after moving from New Zealand to Bristol in england following the death of her mother. After recruiting a rhythm section, Chris Davis on bass and Jordan Cook on drums they set out with the mission to make live music fun again.

Call The Doctor have released a minialbum (recorded by Paul Tipler who has previously worked with Idlewild, Elastica, Placebo) and an EP over the last 18months and have received airplay from BBC Introducing, Tom Robinson on 6 Music, John Kennedy on XFm, been Steve Lamacq's unsigned band of the week, featured on Gill Mill's Best Of Myspace, with NME describing the band as "Jerky Post-Punk". We have played almost 100 live shows in this time in the UK and Europe and their energetic live show is something to behold.

The band are currently recording a full debut album for release next Spring/Summer and in the downtime are trying to organise live shows and festivals to support the release in 2012.
