Biography

The one, the only, the inordinately bony, Camden, are your new 4 piece band from Sydney.

With confronting lyrical themes of depression, romance, vanity and vulgarity, Camden’s original music is often compared to a combination of Morrissey’s voice, splashed with the energy of the Klaxons.

Joining Camden, the slender, narcissistic, romantic lead singer-songwriter, are the three other members; Murphy James on drums, Kasper Kiely on bass, Dave Rodriguez on Guitar.

A Flâneur of the night, Camden finds inspiration in the mud and the muck of the city streets and the romance that can be found in its midst.

Aptly put by Camden himself, “Cliché is a French word; it shouldn’t be an Australian one”.

So make a pledge, for all those who do not belong, find the world vacuous, disgusting; look beyond the irony, listen to Camden and fall in love again
