"Camel Toe -- Gotta Have It!"

Camel Toe has managed to pull together a sound that is unique! Finally, a band that doesn't sound like ten others. If you like fun, upbeat, funk-rock, delivered by a tight trio of prankster musicians, you've gotta check them out.
- Tune Up: Anthony Scorsone

"WNSU On-air Interview"

The funniest, most original, and tightest band I've seen in a long time!
- WNSU: Tim Stone

"Sound Check"

Surf This, a standout single on their self-titled debut CD, is a two-and-a-half minute surf-inspired romp that has JP's guitar echoing Dick Dale in his prime, Doug White spitting satirical lyrics about surfer's territorialism, and solid drum playing holding the slam-danceable, laugh-out-loud track together. - New Times: Brian Hyman

Camel Toe's music is frequently compared to Frank Zappa, Primus, 70's funk, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their lyrics are spiked with zany and comical wit, making people smile wide while tappin' their toes to the funked-up beat.

Camel Toe's latest CD features nine songs that are receiving rave reviews from all who hear it. This CD contains some of Camel Toe's funniest material to date, including a couple of incredible guitar-driven instrumental jams to round out the track list.

New Times, Sound Check, by Brian Hyman:

Surf This, a standout single on their self-titled debut CD, is a two-and-a-half minute surf-inspired romp that has JP's guitar echoing Dick Dale in his prime, Doug White spitting satirical lyrics about surfer's territorialism, and solid drum playing holding the slam-danceable, laugh-out-loud track together.

The Musicians:

JP Ferris' electric guitar rhythms lay the foundation for many of Camel Toe's get-up-and-dance tunes. JP's lead-guitar solos are blistering hot, and his whacked-out humor comes through loud and clear on the microphone.

Doug White holds down the low end with innovative bass lines, slappin' & poppin' and finger-funkin' his electric 4-string.

Dean Vellenga's drumming prowess anchors every Camel Toe song with perfectly placed drumbeats, fills and cymbal hits. Dean's formal education in music, and his extensive playing experience in bands, ensembles, and theater productions adds a creative spark to Camel Toe's on-going writing and performing.
