Based in the Northside of Houston, Camera Cult is an indie-pop band formed by Ricky J. Vasquez, David Gonzalez, and Skyler Scholtes. Each member brings their influences, ranging from New Order to The 1975, to create their own blend of upbeat, guitar driven pop that keeps feet moving and heads bouncing. Camera Cult has built a reputation as one of Houston’s must watch live acts with their all killer - no filler sets making sure they leave it all on the stage every time. It’s where the band feels most comfortable and confident in how their music comes across to the audience. Camera Cult are currently producing a new EP and have just released their latest single “Street Dreamz”.
