Due to popular demand, in August 2008, they released 1000 hard copies of their debut EP entitled, ‘The Adventures Of...’, which sold-out in its entirety. Interest in the band has continued to escalate, so much so that for My Auntie Sam's debut headline show at the Liverpool O2 Academy 2 on February 28th this year, they pre-sold out the 550 capacity venue, via online and box office ticket sales. They were also selected to play in this year’s HUB festival to well over 1000 punters.

My Auntie Sam's popularity is indicated by their MySpace soaring up to nearly 200,000 profile views and nearly 140,000 song plays.
In recent months the band have had tracks played on Radio 1 by DJ Huw Stephens and have featured on BBC Radio Merseyside.

They have just recorded 3 tracks with Paul Tipler (Idlewild, Placebo, The Charlatans, Stereolab) who took them on after being extremely impressed with their performance; in fact, he found it hard to believe they were only teenagers.

Under their former name, "My Auntie Sam" (we just changed it to CAMERA CLUB LAST MONTH!!!) they have supported bands such as One Night Only, The Rifles, Cage the Elephant, Bombay Bicycle Club, Tokyo Police Club, Robots in Disguise and The Thirst, as well as performing DJ sets with Mystery Jets and Good Shoes.
