""Voyage To Ataraxia" by Cameron Butler"

Cameron Butler has been a favorite of mine for some months now, which is why I’m extremely happy to bring you his brand new album titled Voyage To Ataraxia, which is with out a doubt his best work yet. This project is a total of twelve tracks in length, and each of the songs provided have their own kind of unique thing about them, which leaves you eager to hear what’s coming in the next one. There is a little bit of everything in this one from soothing instrumental, to aggressive verses, some beautiful & well thought out skits, and most importantly, some great music! The great energy all started in the second half of the opening joint titled “Brain”, and carried all the way throughout the entire tape. Cameron Butler may not be a household name at this point in time, however with the way that he’s going, I predict that he becomes one sooner than we all think. Stream this brand new project via Soundcloud below, but if you really like it be sure to support him by purchasing the album on Apple Music!

Along with the release of this project, Cameron left us with some touching words saying: “Initially I was going to have someone do a really prolific description about my album, but this is my album so I’ll take up for it. This album isn’t for everyone who is expecting me to be making the same kind of music as everyone else, as well as the same music I’ve made in the past. I hope this album resonates with you as a listener and inspires some sort of creative fire in your heart. If not, I guess just listen to something else. At the end of the day, all I can do is present the music. I can’t make you like it. With that being said, enjoy.”

""Fly On The Wall" by Cameron Butler"

Although his full-length project “Pink Nirvana” dropped just last month, North Carolina-based producer Cameron Butler has no intentions of slowing down. The young multi-talented musician’s work ethic has already culminated in a new 5-track EP titled “Fly On The Wall”.

While Butler’s production style has found its footing in atmospheric sounds that feel like the type of music some sci-fi space colony would make, “Fly On The Wall” is just as much a glimpse into the future as it is a nod to the past. Influences from 80s synth wave, funk, and electro echo all over this project, contrasting the more experimental hip-hop sound he worked with on “Pink Nirvana”. He explores the more poppy side of his music with full-force, concentrating on themes of love through catchy, timeless melodies. This range of talents gets put on full display for tracks like “Kryptonite”. Opening with explosive drums that sound like they were pulled straight out of an 80s pop anthem, Butler meets these electronic textures with smooth vocals that seem to blend in with the instrumental seamlessly. With “Fly On The Wall”, Butler captures the vibe of summer love and opens the doors to a whole other side of his sonic world—one we hope to hear more of in the future. - Lyrical Lemonade

Butler has worked with numerous acts, such as East Coast's own Mutant Academy out of Richmond, Virginia, The Left Field Theory, another collective with various styles hailing from Orlando, Florida, WELL$, a well-known buzzing act in North Carolina, as well as many more skillful artists on the rise.
