Bio

Cameron Milford is a singer/strummer from Brisbane, Australia. His music blends the sounds of Americana and Folk Rock. Cameron grew up in the Alt-Country scene of Brisbane, where he enjoyed success with the bands "Inntown" and "The Golden Spurs". After deciding it was time for a change, he traveled the the USA and Europe as a solo troubadour and part time banjo player.

During his journey he made a stop in Nashville, Tennessee. Excited by the sounds of "Music City", he thought it would be good to stay for a while. He rented a caravan, bought a nice pair of boots and dove deep into the sounds of American Roots Music. Within a few months he emerged with a group of songs that fused his thoughtful lyrics with the the sounds of Bluegrass, Traditional Country and Roots Rock. These songs became the foundation for his debut album, "Highway Wind".

The recording of "Highway Wind" was an international effort that spanned Brisbane, Nashville, Sydney and Memphis. The album featured a group of acclaimed musicians including; Rob Ickes (IBMA Dobro Player of the Year 2006-2012), David Henry (Ben Folds, Missy Higgins) and Doug Gallacher (Crossfire, Slim Dusty). "Highway Wind" was released nationally in 2013 through Storybridge Sounds.
