Cameron Vail

Born in San Diego with roots in Chicago “home” to Cameron Vail is just outside of Houston. Cameron is now in Austin as a student at UT continuing to develop his musical talents. His love of music and gift of writing were discovered early when his older brother awed by a friend’s ability to play and write music inspired his first song, “Sweet Sweet Love”. Composing songs seemed to come naturally from that point on and he performed his original works at local coffee shops and school events. Cameron’s sensitivity, love of life, and typical growth experiences come through in his lyrics while his melodies appeal to a wide range of audiences. He has recently been influenced collaborating with Fred Andrews of Honeybrowne on his self titled EP completed in the fall of ’07. This is just the first of what is expected to be many more productions of the young singer/songwriter.
