Bio
Camille Thornton is a 16-year-old singer/songwriter from northern Virginia. She has been writing songs all her life and plays guitar, piano, cello, and ukulele, and has recently picked up banjo, mandolin, and harmonica. Since she began performing at age 13, Camille has played at numerous local writers' nights and festivals, including Viva! Vienna and Celebrate Fairfax, and in 2012, she was declared "McLean Idol" when she won first place at a local talent competition. In addition, Camille has recorded several demos in Nashville with producer Bobby King. In summer 2013, Camille was accepted into GRAMMY Camp, a 10-day summer intensive in Los Angeles run by the GRAMMY Foundation, where she worked with talented kids from all over the country and performed on KTLA News, at the Recording Academy, and at the El Rey Theater.
