Mary’s newest CD, "Crystal Shoe", follows her World Music Chart hit "Celtic Voices", "Celtic Requiem" and "Daughter of Lir". Danny’s tenth and most recent CD is "Blue Light Cheap Hotel", his third with the irrepressible Celtic jam band Wake the Dead, and joining "Wake the Dead" and "Buckdancer's Choice". Available showcases of Danny's original songs also include "Journeys of the Heart", "No Regrets", and "Cut and Run". Songs from nearly all the above-listed CDs are available on iTunes. All have enjoyed airplay nationwide.

Bio

CAMOGIE is a quartet of popular Bay Area singer-songwriters combining their talents to create a new, harmony-drenched sound that crackles with joyous Celtic energy.

CAMOGIE is Robin Flower and Libby McLaren, multi-instrumental trailblazers of Celtic Americana, Danny Carnahan, lead singer with the adventurous jam band Wake the Dead, and Mary McLaughlin, internationally-acclaimed Irish chanteuse. Together or separately, the four bandmembers have performed on PBS and The Tonight Show, in festivals from Belfast to Vancouver and from Scotland to New Zealand, and on more than 20 of their own albums, while adding their talents to dozens more. This is the first time these four exciting performers have banded together.

Four-part vocal harmonies soar over shifting textures of piano, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, octave mando, accordion, and electric keyboards. All four bandmembers provide new original songs to the band’s eclectic repertoire, in addition to the most singable songs they’ve popularized on their own, rearranged to showcase the strengths of this unique, new lineup.

Songs from CAMOGIE’s new EP have joined music by all four bandmates in Northern California radio rotation. Robin released four solo albums before her three duo outings with Libby—Steelhead in the Riffles, 30-Second Kiss, and Angel of Change. Mary’s newest CD, Crystal Shoe, follows her World Music Chart hit Celtic Voices, Celtic Requiem and Daughter of Lir. Danny’s tenth and most recent CD is Blue Light Cheap Hotel, his third with the irrepressible Wake the Dead.

Whether one of Mary’s hypnotic Gaelic anthems, Libby’s touching character studies, Danny’s quirky takes on love, or Robin’s driving sets of tunes, every CAMOGIE arrangement shines with a rare sense of fun.
