Bio
Born, Cameron Reeves Bailey, is a musician, composer, and producer from Indianapolis, IN. He holds a Bachelors degree in Music Performance from Butler University, where he trained in Jazz and Classical music. Cam is a well-rounded multi-instrumentalist and enjoys playing percussion and drums, but is also fluent on piano, guitar and ethnic flutes. Although classically trained, he also enjoys time studying worldly styles of music such as, African and Indian. Cam has toured extensively in the United States and various parts of Brazil, including Rio De Janiero, Salvador, Sao Paulo. In 2010, he was honored as an over-seas guest musician at the Hong Kong Institute of Education International Jazz Festival. Cam is also the drummer for the electronic-rock band "I-Exist" (www.iexistband.com) . Cam released his first solo track called Incipio, from the album "Various States of Being" on June 28th, 2018. Various States Of Being" is a collection of songs written and produced by Cam Reeves. Every track was composed without over-thinking, and attempting to not second guess. Each track embodies my emotions and feeling in that present moment in space and time. The first release, "Incipio" is a track that contains all of Cam's voices. African drums (djembe), Indian Percussion (Tabla, Shakers), and Native American Flutes.
