Toronto duo Candy Coated Killahz bang out heavy-hitting crowd-pleasers. With gritty rhymes and bouncy pop hooks, they skillfully pull together the most irreplaceable elements of hip-hop, electro-pop, and dance anthems. It's a sound that is infectiously accessible yet fully genre-bending.

It Factor, CCK’s debut full-length album, is a non-stop, all-night electro party. Front-girl/producer Tosha Dash and vocalist Icon the Anomali come to life in the first single, Playboy, a four-to-the-floor dance track combining deep, sweaty beats with irresistible lyrics and a fly hook.

Tosha and Icon met while working at a downtown Toronto restaurant and soon took the innovative sound of Candy Coated Killahz to the streets in 2007. Since, they’ve been featured in International magazines and music blogs, spurring thousands of mp3 downloads worldwide. This summer, they will be taking their vibrant stage show on the road, including slots at Colorado’s Monolith Festival and Montreal's Under Pressure.

Tosha Dash is the beat-making whiz kid behind the Candy Coated Killahz sound. The classically trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist began honing her production skills several years ago and hasn’t looked back since. With her cheeky vocals and seductive charm, this German-Jamaican bad-girl works the dance floor hard.

Nigerian-born Icon the Anomali brings his 90’s-inspired lyrical style and buttery voice to the duo. Also a talented screenwriter and visual artist, his musical style parallels his grimy, playful comic book creations. The two are also committed to working with teens and head up a non-profit music production program for youth called Beats.Mind.Movement, which was even visited by Canada’s Governor General, the Right Honorable Michaelle Jean!
