Bio
Cantarra was founded in 2007 by award-winning singer/songwriter Lee Hayes (from Malaika). Lee is teamed with the musical talents of Charlotte Hayes, Lori Jean Hodge, and Nicky Brodie to create this stunning vocal mosaic. Added to the vocla mix is an array of percussion; Djembe, Conga, Cajón, Guiro, and an abundance of shakers.
Cantarra’s unique sound includes a myriad of languages (English, French, Spanish, Swedish, Swahili, Italian, Zulu, Lingalese, and Finnish to date) and original arrangements by creative director Lee Hayes.
