Cape Town is a pop punk band based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba with members from diverse backgrounds within the local music scene. Capetown is the culmination of fresh ideas and sounds in a new, but familiar way, here to take the music scene by storm. With vocalist Brady Hofer and guitarist Jordan Mol coming from the metal scene, bassist Dane Arbuckle and guitarist Eric Grabowecky coming out of the pop rock corner, and drummer Cam Friesen with roots in folk-rock, the band has diverse origins but come together to deliver a tight new sound. The influences that drive Cape Town come from all over. just like it's members. With vocal styling and lyrics inspired by such bands as The Dangerous Summer and The Neighbourhood, and rhythm parts influenced by groups such as A Day to Remember, Sick City, and countless others in the early 2000s pop punk scene, the band brings familiar sounds with some new flavours. Cape Town is hard at work on new songs, and with an album currently in the works, the band is excited to hit the stage and start getting their music heard.
