Bio
Cape Wrath is Philadelphia based acoustic/ambient artist Jamie Glisson. After her time fronting The Icon And The Axe (Aux Records) she breaks off to be on her own. On her own doesn't mean without support but rather an opportunity to singlehandedly craft an album about her Norwegian family. More specifically the women in her family. The epic Norse tale will be released in its entirety in 2011 via Aux Records. The three songs from the forthcoming album are available now.
"'I Guess We'll All Find Out', Scott Said (In The End)" was recorded in January 2010 by Jamie Glisson and Scott Krueger of Psalters. Jodie Kelly played violin, while Jamie Glisson performed all other vocals and instrumental tracks.
"And We, Like Fish, Fill the Ocean" was performed by Jamie Glisson and recorded by Greg Jehanian of MewithoutYou in February 2010.
"Seven Seas (And Then Some!)" was performed by Jamie Glisson, with additional guitar by Greg Jehanian. It was recorded by Jamie Glisson and Greg Jehanian in March 2010.
