Their debut album, out later this year, was ambitiously recorded in their home built studio. Situated above a curry house and below a tattoo parlour in Eastbourne (of all places), it sounds like it could easily be performed at Wembley stadium, or 25 years ago in front of Tony Wilson at the Hacienda...
Their 2009 Camden crawl festival appearance was noted by The Sun newspaper as one of the highlights of the 200 + bands performing. BBC radio presenter Steve Lamacq needs 3 hands to count how many times he has seen them perform, and it was Q magazine who said their 09 mini album release 'possessed a swagger even Brandon Flowers may come to envy'. These compliments aside, they are still extremely envious of the footsteps before them and they are still transforming sh*t holes into recording studios
