All four members are based in Sunny Queensland, Brisbane. Luke and Rohan met while studing Carpentry. After a few jam sessions with one fill in member dropping out they asked Luke's brother Marc who still in high school would like to join. It took awhile for everyone to grab a sound that they all liked and work together, but the wait paid off. Nathan (cousin of Rohan) was asked to fill in on the bass but has now accured the forth slot in the band.
What was left was only the band name. They agreed with 'Wolves Of The Hour' but shortly lost interest in the name as it did not give them the feel they were after for a band name. Days went by until Luke, Marc and Rohan sat down for a serious 'Band Name' session. In the end the name 'Capital Control' was picked and since than they have been focusing on writing great music.

Considered to have a 'Surfy', '90's' era feel, Capital Control write to impress, engage and amaze there fans and audience. Simple but effective with catchy melodies and riffs from vocals, guitar and bass coming straight at you left right and centre. Their repitorie has a mix of upbeat funky, laid back soothing, punchy indie surf rock and simple rock beats through out their pieces. Capital Control have a unique sound which is just waiting to be released to a wider audience across the world.
