Guinness World Record-holding Singer, 15 year-old Capri Everitt, has a new hit single “Girl Stand Up” that was just named as a Top 10 Finalist for the 2020 CBC Searchlight competition.  Click here to watch the music video, which now has has over 105k views. Capri has been performing this energetic and inspiring song live around North America with her dancers for the past month, at venues such as the world famous Apollo Theatre in New York, CTV Morning Live and Talent Time (TV Show on Amazon Prime). Capri’s mission is to empower girls and youth around the world to stay true to themselves and this catchy, danceable song’s refrain “girl you better go stand up” inspires listeners to break through any limits they encounter “cause no one can take your place, girl”.
Capri received international acclaim and world-wide media attention when she travelled to 80 countries where she sang the national anthem of each country in the national language to raise money and awareness for vulnerable children. During her journey “Around the World in 80 Anthems”, she was featured in more than 100 print and television segments and continues to perform around the world at various high profile events (NBA’s Toronto Raptors, Washington Nationals, We Day speaker, Carnegie Hall).
