Hailing from Southern Ontario, Captain Kife consists of 3 members:
Aaron Lavigueur (guitar, lead vocals)
Ty Perry (Bass, vocals)
Dan Leeson (drums)
We write our own music, play our own recordings, and have 15 years of extensive
experience in recording and performing music.
Captain Kife believes in a renaissance of live music, and seeks to bring an amazing live show to stages throughout Canada and the United States. Playing for years in other bands such as A Dying Race (Verona Records) and Swift Yellow, we are serious musicians who are dedicated to our craft. We live for each day and believe in having fun with friends as much as possible.
All band members grew up in or around Napanee, Ontario, which is located on Lake Ontario between Toronto and Montreal. There, we met during high school where we were all part of a large music community. Aaron formed punk rock bands Swift Yellow and, later, Captain Kife, which were both well-received. Full of inspiration, dedication, and motivation, Captain Kife is ready to take the music world by storm.
Doing It faster, stronger, and with more love. Captain Kife has shared the stage with many bands including Moneen, This Is A Standoff, Silverstein, Strike Anywhere, Strung Out, and more.
