CAP!TAL S!N: four syllables, four instruments, and four band members with a raging desire to conquer the world with their unique brand of hard rock. Raised on Zeppelin, Sabbath, Guns N’ Roses, Pantera and a slew of other heavy influences, these young metal-heads desperately want to make their own indelible impression on a modern music scene sorely lacking the kind of rock that used to inspire kids to grow their hair and pick up a guitar. Consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist Tom Dubois, guitarist Joey McDermott, and the rhythm section of brothers Nick and Matt Schneider (drums and bass respectively), a new breed of rock n’ roll is emerging from their fingertips and vocal chords as they seek to bring a contemporary feel to the old-school music they grew up on. The band formed in Vacaville, California, a humble suburb outside Sacramento, in 2006. They met in high school and instantly bonded over their shared musical interests. From then on it was a steady string of gigs following their debut at the school’s annual Battle of the Bands: clubs, bars, house parties, even before a basketball game at Arco Arena and virtually everywhere else in between. S!N went on hiatus, however, after Tom and Joey moved down to LA to enroll in the Musician’s Institute while the brothers remained in Vacaville to pursue degrees at UC Davis. But now they are back in business. After graduating, Nick and Matt decided to rejoin their old band in Hollywood and promptly moved down to reignite the flame of CAP!TAL S!N’s passion to ultimately become the biggest rock band on the planet.
