Bio

Caramelle, has
singing in her blood.
Already as a little girl, the charismatic singer with German and
African roots, convinced her teachers and classmates to establish a
children's choir.
Later the Itzehoe native sang in the school- and gospel choir and was
the lead singer of her middle school.

Due to much ambition and support from her German mother, her Ghanaian
father and her four siblings she held onto her goal to become a
singer.
She took singing and dancing lessons and worked on her voice and stage presence.
Next to her apprenticeship as a nurse, Caramelle took jobs as a model
and wrote her first songs which she published on the internet.

At age 18 the ambitious artist signed her first record deal.
Caramelle's first single „Self Control“ was released in February 2007
and climbed throughout ten weeks to reach #39 on the German Media
Control charts.
This started an eventful time. Caramelle shot her first music video,
gave interviews and went on her first club tour across Germany,
Austria and Switzerland.
Her tour reached it's peak during the summer of 2007 at the
Berlin-Wannsee with an audience of over 35.000 people.
Later the same year a cover of the popular song „Last Christmas“ was
released as a download at the label Pulsive Media.
With this song, Caramelle reached top spots in international download charts,
among other, #1 in Korea, the USA and Poland.

In 2008 things slowed down a little around the bundle of energy from
Northern Germany. But just in time for Christmas, Caramelle released her
new song „Amazing Grace“, the first released song which was mostly
penned by her.

The vivacious singer worked together with many artists to better
herself and learn new things, to this day she can count many
successful performances among her credentials, worked with multiple
labels on her career, still stands in front of the camera as a model
and even takes small movie roles.

In 2009 the long awaited single „No Crime“ was released. Caramelle
who, by now, is referred to as Hamburg's R'n'B Princess surprised her
fans with a music video where she herself had a hand in composition
and direction. For a Pop'n'B ballad which she wrote herself.
Stage dancers which where cast early that year made, among others, an
appearance in this video.

Caramelle was temporarily more focused on modeling during 2010 and
became the German „Ruff Ryders“ model.
Subsequently, she appeared in magazines, on posters and in cinemas.
She toured with up to six background dancers in clubs throughout Germany
and gained much experience in acting by playing the lead role „Mia
Castello“ in the short film „Black Friday“.
