"The Veronicas' Potential New Love Interests - Steve & Brendan Beg For A Date!"

Could these two guys be The Veronicas' next boyfriends? They sure hope so.

Meet Brendan and Steve, one half of Gold Coast band Cardboard Castle. These guys posted a video message to Lisa and Jess of The Veronicas campaigning for a date with them - only to be pleasantly surprised when they received a reply!

In the clip, the boys attempt to woo Lisa and Jess with promise of a candlelit dinner for four in a fancy restaurant.

Watch the video below:

Lucky for Brendan and Steve, The Veronicas saw the video and have agreed to meet up with them when they return to Australia in August!

So could these two Gold Coast boys become the next victims / potential love interests of the globe-trotting pop duo?! Hmmm..... Tell us what you think!

"Cheap Date"

Gold Coast band Cardboard Castle (pictured), whose posting of a video on YouTube asking the Veronicas on a date, had their audacity rewarded. Jess Origliasso came down to Club 299 in Brisbane to see their gig where they’d set up a VIP section for her and then went out for drinks after. Apparently they remain in touch via text.

Meantime, Cardboard Castle are back in the studio with Brisbane producer Stephen Bartlett. They’re also in contact with a Canadian TV network about a reality series about .... - wotnews

Bio

The boys have just moved to Canada to spread their wings however the boys were born in the Gold Coast/Australia where surf, skate and club culture provide the perfect lifestyle balance for an emerging four piece alternative punk band. The ultimate breeding ground for a Californian-esque rock band comprised of four good looking boys out to meet some pretty girls.

The band is made up of school mates Brendan Munday – guitars/vocals, Steve Gray – guitar/vocals, Dave Palmer – drums, Ash Priest – bass, influenced heavily from bands such as Brand New, Jimmy Eat World, and The Clash. Their sound is driven by raw guitars, layered vocals and heartbreak melodies.

The band first took the stage in early 2007 to a packed house at Brisbane’s The Troubadour finishing a close runner up in the Queensland final of Faster Louder’s Garage to V’s competition. They have since been played on Triple J’s Short Fast Loud and their most recent single Bring in the New Year featured in the top 10 on Channel V’s Channel U program for 8 weeks after its April release.
