"If youre looking for real talent from Philly, here it is. Cardiya N Payso are the future teen idols of America,"states Tycoon of West View Muzik Group.
Born in South Philadelphia, but raised in the Feltonville section of the city, the two brothers had a knack for the arts since the ages of 8 and 9. Starring in school plays and writing children books-that were published by reading rainbow- just werent enough for the duo. They loved music more than anything! So they picked up a pen and threw on a beat The rest is history.
Cardiya N- Payso arent the average rappers that you see on the underground DVDs, theyre having fun, being original and addressing issues that are relevant to all teens. When asked to describe their style, Cardiya states, "We bring creative flows, excitement, energy, and substance to the table." Payso goes on to say, "You can't put us in a box, though."
Some of the group's influences are: RunDMC, LL Cool J, Will-I-Am, Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Outcast.
At the moment, Cardiya N-Payso are putting the finishing touches their debut album entitled, Space Muzik and performing all around the tri-state area so be on the look out for these guys. Theyre next!
