Speaking of quality blues, co-host Patrick Henry and I were very fortunate to be able to entice Carey Brazil and master guitar slinger Joe Brasch to join us on "Blues Now and Then" on Sunday, October 7th. Carey played most of his recently released CD, "The Traveler", and graciously played several requests, including "Born In Chicago", "All Along The Watchtower", "Blue Jean Blues" and one of my favorite Brazil covers, "Little Wing". I want to take this opportunity to once again thank Carey Brazil for bringing his music to the airwaves for the enjoyment of our listeners. Bio
Our music is original and fresh with great grooves. We are guitar oriented and there are four members in the band. Two guitars, a bass, and drums/percussion. We lay down acoustic-electric bluesy, jazzy sounds with Dylanesque style lyric. Our influences in our sound are from such artists as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Mark Knopfler, Jimmy Page, Willie Dixon among others. We are all professionals who have been playing on stage and in studios for the past 30 plus years and we are passionate about our craft/gift. I believe the thing that sets us apart from other groups is our energy and spontaneous ability in live performance, and our desire to completely satisfy our audience.
