Biography

Since his musical beginnings in 1984 Carey has traveled the roads of metal, blues, jazz, classical and flamenco. Now a flamenco guitar soloist and master in his own right his cutting edge compositions are very unique and original having been drawn from a melting pot of influence.

His music knows no boundaries not only making an impact in the flamenco and classical community but also appealing to many ethnic communities and diverse listening audiences. His identity is established through his expression of each and every note emanating a style that is truly one of a kind.

Aside from emotion driven performances as soloist and with ensembles that include flamenco, classical, latin, blues and rap he is currently preparing a debut release of original compositions that include 1 guitar sonata and 2 guitar suites (uncommon with flamenco.) A CD of the Bach lute suites and an homage to Paco de Lucia and Sabicas is also currently in development.

Set List

I can play a 90 minute concert at this moment (using a few loose arrangements) however I have selected the material for this 90 minute concert and they are all masterpieces. Six of the tracks which make up 50 minutes are composed and
ready to go now. I have 4 other tracks making up approx, 30-40 minutes being composed right now (by me) and I have 3 other tracks (2 by Paco de Lucia and 1 by Sabicas) to round out the show. These will fill a 90 minute concert and have a couple of encores too.
