Carin Dawn

As a Colorado native, Carin Dawn has been experienced in the art of songwriting for quite some time. “I first started writing when I was 13 and felt a strong connection to the artists I was listening to at the time. Artists like Carly Simon, Carole King and Amy Grant remind me of the peace and innocence I felt at such an early age.”

For the past few years Carin has been writing and refining songs for her upcoming EP, “Stories”. “These songs reflect the folk music I grew up with and are close to my heart and share a glimpse of who I am and what I’ve been through.”

Carin was given music at an early age. The passion and longing she feels for each song heard, sung or written is a part of her soul being poured out melting with the emotion of what she hears… if only for a moment.

“I know that I have experienced something that only a heart passionate for the sound of notes can know. I have music, songwriting, listening to old tunes and new composers. As well as getting lost in the smiles of those willing to sit for a time and listen to what I have to say in words and music”
