Bio
Folk singer-songwriter Carla Jayne performs an eclectic mix of covers and original tunes. With stylings inspired by Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, and Sheryl Crowe, Carla writes catchy melodies and lyrics that draw inspiration from nature. Born and raised in Hanna, Alberta, Carla is completing a Bachelor of Music at Macewan University. In the last year she’s performed at many venues around the city, including Café Blackbird, Have Mercy, the Station, and Kaleido Arts Festival.
