The new album, "Rota das Paixões" (Route of the Passions) reveals now a singer who has everything to become one of the greats fado singers of 2012.
- Êxito magazine (CM-pt) - Miguel Azevedo

An intense moment with one of the best shows of the festival!

With a voice that carries in its accents, flashes of light and shadow reflections,(…) Carla compensates the opacity of words, for a public who has not knowledge of the Portuguese language, by facial expressions, the grace of gesture and dance steps, combining her voice and her talent with the complicity of the guitars .
The songs of Carla Pires they don’t celebrate just love, they also speak about friendship or they pay homage to her city, Lisbon, adding accents of joy that can not escape to a conquered public.
The evening ends in the enthusiasm of the public, that sings together with Carla Pires, the refrains of her songs. - Claire Fontaine - La Marseillaise
