Bio

Born in 1978, at Caracas (Venezuela), Carlos Angola had
always shown a particular interest in music and singing, but it was not until 1992 when he started writing his first songs, even without a band to be part of.
In the year 2000, he joined the renowned ska band "Skabiosis" , as their leading vocalist, which led to a reissue of their first album called "Skabiosis". During their album debut promotion tour, in Colombia, they shared stage with the famous colombian band 'Doctor Krápula' and 'Los Calzones', a band from Argentina. On the same tour,
the band played a special performance at the television channel 'Much Music' for an exclusive show.
After his passing through Skabiosis, Carlos Angola traveled to Europe for two months, in order to explore and redefine his next step in his musical discovery. His experiences during that journey encouraged him to increase his proficiency as a songwriter and his love for pop and
rock genres, leading to the creation of 'Faldas Largas', a band wich was invited to record a song for the tribute album "Salmones Distintos" for one of his main and most important musical influences: Andres Calamaro.
In 2011, as a consequence of his acoustic personality, he crafted "Rompecabezas", his soloist and much more intimate, personal and creative new
album.
