Recognized musical director and composer awarded prizes for his works with bale and theatre such as "O caldo da Cana", "Paraibanadas", " A Estória da Tonta Baratinha", "Ai! Meu Dentinho", "Estaciones Porteñas", "Alma Brasileira", "Código Nacional de Trânsito", "Vide e Obra - ou Consulte a Bula", "O Pequenino Grão de Areia", "Fuga y Mistério", "Rock Monstro", "No Tempo na Cresthomatia","Todas as Ondas do Rádio", "Viva a Nau Catarineta", among others. He has been the conductor and artistic director of the chamber voice choir "Villa-Lobos" for tha last eleven years and along this time recorded the CDs "Cancioneiro de Ipuarana" and "Todas as Ondas do Rádio". He was the musical activities coordinator of the "X Festival de Arte da Paraíba (86)", "Projeto Pixinguinha (87/88)", "Projeto CumpliCIDADES (92)" and "IV, V e VI Festival Nacional de Arte - FENART (98/99/00)". He has also been artistic director, composer, conductor and musical arranger for the CDs "Viva Nau Catarineta" and "Poetas Sem Conserto" and conduct the new recording of "Cantata Pra Alagamar" by José A. Kaplan and Waldemar J. Solha. He is also responsible for the research and musical direction of the double CD recording "Antologia Musical: Viva Pedro Santos!"

In 2005 he was the musical director and conductor of the "Oratório de Semana Santa Via-Sacra de Ilza Nogueira e Waldemar Solha" premier, besides acting as musical director for the recordings of 5 CDs containing follk music from the state of Paraíba, Brasil: "Boi de Reis", "Coco", "Ciranda de Adultos", "Lapinha" and "Fandango" all results of a research by Altimar Pimentel. In 2006 he coordinated the artistic activities of the Paraiba Federal University 50th aniversary celebration. In 2007 he composed and conducted the music for the Hollyweek oratory "Jesus, Uma Paixão" directed by Humberto Lopes and produced by Fundação de Cultura de João Pessoa - FUNJOPE. "Travessuras: Dez Canções Infantis de Carlos Anísio" is his most recent album dedicated to the infant audiences.
