Started with classical piano to evolve into pop rock music in my teens and got a B.A. in music in Canada before travelling extensively in Europe (lived in Paris for 15 years) and ended up in Asuncion Paraguay teaching music and finally arranging / recording my songs into demos to get them out of my head and into the ears of the world! This probably isn't the best place for composer of english songs to live and promote his songs but hey who knows with the internet and electronic means of sending demos ....maybe I could get hooked up with people interested in my songs?
I like to write songs with lyrics either from personal experience or by things that I imagine happen to characters in a movie. I love the movies, and they often inspire me to get my imagination soaring.
I like to compose in different styles ranging from classical harmony ballads (Since You've Been Gone) to upbeat pop/rock songs (I Will Be With You) to songs I imagine could be used in a Disney teen movie (I Only Want To Be With You). I have also written some instrumental themes for romantic style movies which are more reflective/melancholic emotionally. My dream is to get some of my songs recorded by well known artists and others placed in movies.
