Exposed Vocals: So tell us your story. Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?I was born in Belize and raised in Houston since the age of 8 moving from Southside Houston, Alief Texas, Northside Houston, to Cypress. I didn't know about hip hop until I came to the states and instantly became a fan, so since middle school I would write rhymes and started recording in high school. It wasn't till after working a dead end job that I reevaluated my life to understand what I wanted in life so being an artist and an entrepreneur seemed more fulfilling eventually quitting my job. Now all I do is be an artist and run Young Twisted Regime.
Exposed Vocals: Since everyone was a start-up once, can you give any smaller or local bands or artists looking to get gigs and airplay some tips?As an artist you have to remember your music and image is your product, so make it worth paying for after that people will come to you, also push your music everywhere.
Exposed Vocals: Do you ever make mistakes during performances? How do you handle that?yes sometimes I forget lyrics but I have freestyle skills so I use it and only true fans realize it but they still enjoy it
Exposed Vocals: Do you tour? Anything interesting happen on tour that you think our readers would enjoy hearing about?I have done many shows but had many crazy experiences that I would get in trouble for so I can't say but I can say that my shows are LIT
Exposed Vocals: Any planned studio upgrades? What are you working with now?Im actually in between engineers so if any of them are reading this get at me.
Exposed Vocals: How do you find ways to promote your music? What works best for you?I promote online, at shows, open mics, clubs, bars, and everywhere I go.
Exposed Vocals: If you could perform anywhere and with any artists (Dead or Alive) where and who would it be with? Why?Madison Square Garden with Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Chance the rapper, Slim Shady, Biggie, old school Lil Wayne, Immortal Technique, 2 Chainz, because it'll be dope AF
Exposed Vocals: So, what’s next? Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?Have a single coming out but i still don't have a name for it, and working on music videos for my songs Escobar and Love Contradictions.
Exposed Vocals: If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?honestly at a dead end job until I go postal, then prison.
Exposed Vocals: What should fans look forward to in the next year or so?more shows, more music, tours, and maybe some acting.
