these 5 tracks are my first ever recordings of any of my music.they are a bit raw and pretty much unedited,so please excuse this.i have 25+ songs in my catalogue now which im trying to record at the moment with the help of cubase.

i have been a singer since i was a kid singing along to the radio and at church.i was raised with country,but allways preferred pop music and as i grew up artists like; santana,pink floyd,the doobies,the eagles,fleetwood mac,bob marley and the wailers, the stones,elvis,stevie wonder,lionel ritchie,janis joplin,joni mitchel,cat stevens,aretha franklin,tina turner,bob dylan and don maclean were some of my influences. ive allways loved the beatles and the simplicity of their lyrics.lately ive found myself writing country songs and even a hymn (you are my light) its funny how as we mature the influences of our elders that we sometimes even disliked can surface in us. tho having said that i allways have loved johnny cash.lol. what people like taylor swift are doing for country to bring it more into the mainstream is great.more recent influences are people like;seal.sade, david gray,john mayer,jack johnson, james blunt,dido,dixie chicks,coldplay,sherryl crow,pete murray,and n.zs greatest ever pop band,crowded house.(the finn bros can write songs man!)my own story has been full of highs and lows,trials and tribulations and every time i fall in or out of love,or have a personal struggle it makes me stronger and gives me a rich source of emotional material from which to draw on.translating this into music is real therapy for me.lately ive been writing more poppy crossover songs (eg circles and you saved me) i would love to see an upandcoming or even established pop performer take these songs and run with them.however if no-one else wants them then what the hell,i'll just keep singing them myself!
