Carly Malone Smith

After a childhood brought up on Neil Young, Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris it is no wonder why, Toronto based artist, Carly Malone Smith sounds like a sweet late sixties songstress.

Lacking direction, Carly spent her early twenties traveling - adventures which took her to many unique places, meeting many interesting people. A magnet for the fascinating, the funny, the horrendous and the heartbreaking, she arrived back in Toronto with plenty of tales to tell which has made for a colourful catalogue of songs. Poetically outlining the places she’s been and the people she's met - good or bad - all of her songs fit together like the pages in the diary of a true nomad.
