Between recording and releasing her debut CD and playing regularly in Southern Ontario, Manleys original sound and consistent live performances have helped her become a fan favourite and an integral part of the Ontario music scene. Manley has enjoyed a successful year as one of Canadas rising stars.
Drawing from influences such as John Mayer and Etta James, Manley has developed a unique and mature style as a young musician. She describes her sound as "pop intent with jazz chords that are learning to swim in a funky atmosphere." This mix of current and classic styles is portrayed on her debut CD, 'Let Love Be Your Goal'.
Manley and her band have played live at some of Southern Ontarios hottest venues and has shared the stage with international recording artists like Justin Nozuka, Levee, Brazen and Casey Baker.
Manley teaches guitar and vocals for SONY Songwriter, Rick Rose at the Niagara Institute of Music and Arts. Manley also assists the guitar courses at Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology. Most recently she has recieved "Original Song of the Year" for her song "Gonna Get Through" at the Niagara Music Awards 09'.
