Carnations is mainly composed by a memorable sweet voice, the exciting sound of the guitar, and the warmth of the piano. The fusion of analog and electric-rock creates a new sound; pop-rock band. This new sound encompasses a fusion of pop, electric-rock and gives an analog touch. The band’s fresh style of wearing a traditional Japanese Kimono has a strong impact, and will remain in the minds of many people.
In spring 2011, Ange (lead vocalist) and Qta (guitar, vocals) began producing the new style of pop-rock. They first met in Tokyo, and decided to open the doors of pop-rock after being influenced by Carpenters and Cardigans. Ange sings digitally distributed anime songs, which has gained her popularity. She is also a dance performer and a choreographer for anime and children’s songs. Qta is an active guitarist for an UK rock band. Takuo (piano) is a popular rock pianist both on television and at live performances. An acknowledged manipulator, Masato, produced the new sound of a nostalgic color to their songs. The lyrics of their love songs remind the heart rending sorrow people have experienced.
Carnations is a band with musicians who have gained popularity from digitally distributed songs, television and live performances.
