Carnival came to life when friends Alan Gardiner and Paul Wilson moved into a flat together, where they, along with Hotchkiss, started jamming and writing on guitars, eventually Alan G decided to pick up the bass guitar, and out of boredom found a drummer and booked some rehearsal space.
6 months and 3 drummers later, with the addition of Craig Burke as singer, the band really started to come together, mixing all our influences from Nirvana, Joy Division, The Smiths, The Doors, The Drums, Bloc Party, Interpol and countless more to begin to define our own sound.
We played our first show in our hometown on the 28th of December 2012, in the Northstar Bar. Since then we have went on to play 3 Glasgow shows, including one for the club night "This Feeling" and 1 in Stirling. We are currently taking bookings for the rest of 2013
