CAROLINE G GIBSON, Soprano and Founder of TwinProductions (Our Music Is Our History), holds the distinction CMP Artist Endorsement from Christian Music Presenters, is a member of the Cambridge Who's Who "Honors Edition" for Professionals and Executives, is a featured musician and speaker in MinistryWomen.Net and is an active independent artist who has earned the Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) Degree from the University of Iowa School of Music in Iowa City, Iowa; the Master of Music (M.M.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degrees from the Catholic University of America Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, Washington, D.C. and the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, respectively. Additionally, the Soprano is an alumnus of AIMS (American Institute of Musical Studies) in Graz, Austria and the Senese Vocal Program in Siena, Italy.

Among her many honors and awards Ms. Gibson has received, her scholarly accomplishments include High School Class Valedictorian in Seat Pleasant, Maryland; Individual Artist Fellowship from the D.C. Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts; Music Scholarship from the Benjamin T. Rome Graduate School of Music, Catholic University of America; and a Doctoral Fellowship from the Graduate College at the University of Iowa. Performance highlights include debut solo recital at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Terrace Theater, Washington, D.C. soprano soloist in Rossini's Stabat Mater with former Metropolitan Opera Tenor George Shirley; performing artist for the Honorable Michael N. Castle, former Governor of Delaware at the Governor's Mansion in Dover, Delaware; featured soloist with the Delaware Symphony orchestra under the direction of Maestro Stephen Gunzenhauser; and First Place Winner in the Naomi Music Productions and Recordings in New York. In academia, Ms. Gibson served on the faculty of Delaware State College, Dover, Delaware as the Director of Choral Activities.

The Soprano has been spotlighted twice in two hour-long concerts featured on Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) Television; WHMM Channel 32, "An Evening with Caroline Gibson" accompanied by The Chamber Orchestra; and "Caroline Gibson in Performance;" and has performed as a solo artist on Italian TV, Canale 3, Toscana, Siena, Italy. Ms. Gibson's first tour of Mexico as a solo concert artist was under the auspices of The State Government of the Yucatan, and the Center for International Research and Advancement in commemoration of the Thirtieth Anniversary of the Technological Institute with performances at the Teatro Daniel Ayala Perez and the Salon de la Historia de Palacio de Gobierno in Merida. The second concert tour of Mexico was under the auspices of the Cultural Institute of the Yucatan, Mexico for the Otono Cultural Festival and included performances at the Teatro Jose Peon Contreras. The Soprano has also been featured in recital "Spirituals in Concert" in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

To date, Ms. Gibson's most memorable performances have been in two Verdi masterpieces, Abigaille in Verdi's Nabucco with Opera Constanta in Constanta, Romania and most recently Soprano Soloist in Verdi's Requiem.

CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD, Accomplished professional soprano, educator, speaker and TwinProductions founder Caroline G Gibson, DMA, announces the release of two milestone works: “On Ma Journey Now,” a collection of 12 Negro Spirituals; and “The Making of ‘On Ma Journey Now,’” a breathtaking inside look at the recording session.

The album, recorded in February 2006 at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center in Alexandria, Virginia, features the vocals of Caroline G Gibson accompanied by pianist Francis Conlon.
