Bio
Originally from Sudbury, Ontario, where she grew up with 4 older brothers. She has called Vancouver her home since 1994 and is a late bloomer to the Vancouver music scene. She keeps very active hosting 2 open mics a week and leading Worship singing in Maple Ridge, as well as playing extra monthly showcases.
With 3 kids, a dog, a husband, working part-time...the days are full but she finds time to write about life experiences and brings thoughtful lyrics in a folk/rock country style.
In May 2008, Bruce Allen had this to say after her performance of 'Countin' Pennies' during the JackFM Talent Explosion Contest.
"You know a lot of people forget that it's the entertainment business and I just want to say Carolyn that you didn't forget that. You entertained these people and it's very rare these days for young acts and I want to applaud you for that and if you keep doing that you won't be counting pennies and counting dimes for much longer."
June 2009 she released her first EP - "Taken Away"
