Carrie Awe Byer

I have been singing most of my life. My parents tell me I sang my first solo when I was 3. It wasn't until 4th grade that I really started to love singing, although I did want to be a singer even younger than that. God has given me many opportunities to sing and continue to develop the talent that He has given me. My family and friends have also been tremendously supportive. I have been in many choirs and have sung countless solos. I want to use my music for the glory of God. One of my life's dreams has been to record and use my music to reach people for the Lord. This world is so in need of the love and freedom that God has to offer.

I haven't written much music in the past. I really feel that God gave me this song, “Jesus to the World”. The song is basically a heart cry for Jesus to be all to me and that I would not desire anything this world has to offer. It is also a prayer for God to teach me to love myself like He loves me so I can love Him and those around me like I truly want to. I want my heart to beat with His in every area of my life. I want to be Jesus to the world.
