BandPopAcoustic

My music is happy. It's feel good music that collides with emotional lyrics and passionate vocals, whether it's just me and the acoustic, or if I'm backed up with The Carly Manley Band.

Lyrics

Gonna Get Through

Written By: Carly Manley

When night collides with morning
and the day just don't seem bright
I'll be okay
I'll be alright

You've got me standing on the edge, my throughts are scattered
it feels like I'm sinking deep
I wish that I could turn away and never look back again
oh, I'll be alright

(Chorus)
I'm gonna get through
I'm gonna find a way with all the odds against me
'cause it's all or nothing this time, Believe me
Deep down I know it's true
It could never bring me back to you

Time is moving slowly
The memories are fading fast
It's not how it's supposed to be
Why couldn't we make it last?

(Repeat Chorus)

Set List

Depending on the venue and the gig I usually play quite the mixture of songs. Gigs at The Hard Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood require me to play for 4 hours, so I play lots of Beatles, some newer hits such as Colbie Caillat and John Mayer, as well as oldies ranging from The Ronettes, to Etta James and Ray Charles.
