2013: Tim and Danny Carter are in the studio writing and recording their second CD on Compass Records, set for release 3rd Quarter 2013. Tim is set to release a second solo CD in the Summer 2013.

October 2011: The Carter Brothers released their first CD on Compass Records, "The Road To Roosky," a mix of rock/blues/roots/bluegrassy genre that they are known for... Sam Bush joined them on the CD.

2007: Solo releases from brothers Tim and Danny... Tim released "Bang Bang" in August on Tree O Records. It is an all acoustic cd showcasing Tim's talents as a composer/songwriter, playing banjo, guitar and mandolin, featuring appearances by Tim O'Brien, Alison Brown, Matt Flinner, Tim Stafford, Jim Hurst and Rob Ickes. Danny's new CD, "Barcelona," also on Tree O Records, is an original showcase of his love for blues and rock.. playing 6 electric guitars and his beloved Rickenbacker 12 string, this CD features some of blues greats, such as Allman Brothers alumni Johnny Neel on keyboards and Jack Pearson on resonator guitar.

The infamous Carter Brothers?... Born and raised in North Carolina the Brothers have called Nashville home since 1994. Brother Danny's influences were Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Doc Watson and Clarence White... Along with Tim's bluegrass roots banjo and mandolin playing have defined the Brothers as an entity all their own..Great songwriting, razor sharp arrangements, an incredibly strong rhythm section and rich brotherly vocal harmonies... They spent 3 years playing gigs with the great Vassar Clements until his untimely death in 2005.. The brothers tour the USA and the UK and are an especially big hit in Ireland... They have also recorded with good friends Tim O'Brien, Darol Anger, Mike Marshall, Vassar Clements, Johnny Neel, Jim Hurst, Phil Aaberg, Alison Brown and Rob Ickes, only to name a few..
