"The Rundown"

"One of the Gulf Coast’s brightest up-and-coming country acts is coming to the Bluegill on Fri., May 7. Cary Laine has been busy spreading her songs across the Southeast at venues such as the Broken Spoke Café in Austin and Bluebird Café in Nashville ,as well as the Hank Williams Festival and BayFest. Her honest, homespun sound has earned her opening spots with Lorrie Morgan, Joe Diffie and Rhett Atkins. Currently, Laine has been spending her free time penning and recording songs for an upcoming release." - Lagniappe © 2002–2010 Something Extra Publishing, Inc.

"‘Go Country’ for a Cure"

"Local country star Cary Laine has been tapped to put on her spurs on for the event.

This homegrown girl recently made an appearance at the Hangout Music Fest, where she won over the crowd with her sugary vocals and honest songs.

When she takes the stage at Going Country for a Cure, Laine is sure to gather new fans with original songs like “HoochieMama” and “Backwoods Raising.” - Lagniappe © 2002–2010 Something Extra Publishing, Inc.
