Cascade Kinzie

In the summer of 2011 singer/guitarist/songwriter Austin Lillard returned to Durango, Colorado from the University of Colorado in Boulder to reunite with bandmate James Calvet. Soon after, singer Sierra Lillard and fellow musician Peter Bussian joined Austin and James as they found themselves transitioning from the musical stylings of Pop-Punk to Acoustic Folk music. But the quartet aren't your average folk band; the four pull together a variety of influences, including artists like Radiohead, A Day to Remember, Kanye West, and Fleet Foxes. The group then dubbed itself Cascade Kinzie. You can now find the four musicians strumming Banjos, Mandolins, Washboards, Dobros, and Guitars with lush Vocal Harmonies from the streets of downtown to coffee shops and other venues in Southwestern Colorado.
